What is a bed bug?

They live in groups and the female can lay up to 50 eggs at a time that hatch every 10 to 14 days. They crave a blood meal every 3 to 5 days and they can travel 20 meters at night to get it.
How do I know I have bed bugs?
If you have bed bugs you see them in your bed, in your mattress seams, your box spring and even your headboard. You can also spot them under a nightstand, behind the pictures in your room and also the spot where the wall and ceiling meet above the bed. If you don’t see the actual bug in these places, look for fecal stains that look like small dots. This is also a big giveaway of bed bug infestation. Sadly, there might even be signs on your family members. If you or a loved one has bite marks in the morning, it is likely that you have bed bugs.
