Mice: 5 Tips To Prevent Mice From Getting Into Your Home

“Jeff, how can I prevent mice from coming in my house?”

I get asked this question all the time. Here are some house mouse exclusion tips:

  1. Seal any openings larger than 1 cm around pipes and vents going into the house.
  2. Make sure doors, windows and screens fit snugly.
  3. Store wood and debris away from the house.
  4. Manage seeds that drop from outdoor feeders.
  5. Secure your outdoor composter to make it unavailable to rodents.
